Human Resources … Aims and Goals symposium Future University in Egypt continue the support and persistence to develop and add values to their undergraduate engineering students by opening a new communication channel by organizing Human Resources … Aims and Goals symposium addressing the challenges and difficulties facing the fresh graduate engineers.

The symposium mainly focused on which field and what skills and abilities every capable fresh graduate engineer should have. The symposium was held on the 9th of November 2021 at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology under the supervision of the Petroleum Engineering Department, and organized by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) student chapter. The key speaker of the symposium was Dr. Hanan Abdel Moniem Human Resources Expert, Vice President (VP) of Gas Cool Company, and Lecturer of Human Resources at The Arab Academy for Management, Banking and Financial Sciences (AAMBFS) which specialize in Postgraduate studies.

Dr. Hanan stressed on how important and significant to understand the high importance of self-learning and development inside and outside the University campus. Moreover, how such improvements on personal behavior and mind set would change and gives a lot of opportunities after graduation. Furthermore, this symposium considered as a practical application on how to prepare a capable engineers that would fit in any workplace and environment. Finally, this was the first symposium of a sequence that will follow all focus on developing the student understandings and skills as the next symposium agreed to be on “Project Management” to generalize the idea of management in different engineering branches.
