I have the pleasure to welcome you all to the Department of Petroleum Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Future University in Egypt (FUE).The petroleum engineering program curriculumemphasizeson connecting the dots between the classroom lessons and the real industry applications.Our utmost goal is to provide the undergraduates with the required hands-on knowledge and experience to qualify them to actively join the industrial domain of the petroleum engineering inside and outside Egypt. Additionally, we aim at activate scientific cooperation through international firms of petroleum industries and to establish new cooperation protocols with the service companies in Egypt to provide better and longer time practical training on new technologies and their practical applications.<br> The faculty members at the Department of Petroleum Engineeringare highly qualified in practical skills since most of them have 35+ years of practical experience in different petroleum companies.Also, we have a well-organized programcurriculum that is supported by the Missouri University of Science and Technology, USA. Moreover, and for the continuous improvement, the curriculum has recently elaborated to include new courses to coop with the United Nations (UN) sustainable development goals (SDG) to support the petroleum industry'schallengeswith the climate change issues.<br> The Department of Petroleum Engineering had been accredited by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE) as a part of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, FUE, and is currently seeking the international ABET Accreditation.
