It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the Department of Structural Engineering and Construction Management. This ground-breaking academic department was incorporated in the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Future University in Egypt in 2006.
The department merges two programs in one program to keep up to date with current market practices in Structure engineering and construction management. It deals with the art of design and constructing the various types of structures to produce smart structures which can establish a strong and sustainable infrastructure for the future and meet both the saengineeringy and economic aspects as well.
We aspire to build the students’ knowledge on both theoretical and practical grounds. Our graduates will contribute to building contemporary infrastructures needed in Egypt and the region, especially in the field of highways, pump stations, modern residential and office buildings, power stations, skyscrapers, bridges, etc. We are fortunate to be a part of a growing, highly motivated, and energetic institution dedicated to excellence in teaching and research. The department had accreditation as a part of the Faculty of Engineering (FUE) by the National Authority of Accreditation (NAQAI) and is currently seeking international accreditation (ABET) with the Joint of Cincinnati University (USA).
