We are thrilled to announce the opening of Upgrade Lab, the newest engineering laboratory at The Faculty of Engineering and Technology - Future University in Egypt. The faculty's architectural department hosted a week-long event featuring lectures and technical workshops by renowned professors from Germany and Italy. The main highlight of the event was the opening of the ERASMUS+ founded UPGRADE lab, with its cutting-edge tools and technology, which presents a special chance for students to investigate and test out cutting-edge concepts in a variety of engineering domains. This lab is set up to promote students' creativity and curiosity in a variety of areas. The event aimed to shed light on the challenges and opportunities of urban mobility in Egypt, with the participation of local NGOs and businesses. Together, academics, professionals, and students worked towards innovative solutions for a better future!

Prof. Yehya Serag along with his team from the Architectural Department at Faculty of Engineering and technology- Future university in Egypt, participate in the workshop and meeting organized by project partners in the Technical University of Berlin.

ToT- Training of Trainers from 25-29 July 2022. This training was organized by Εθνικό Μετσόβιο Πολυτεχνείο - National Technical University of Athens targeting professors, lecturers, teaching assistants, and staff from schools of architecture, engineering, and transportation to provide training on related courses in the urban mobility and transportation field.

Public lecture at Future University in Egypt in celebration of the first anniversary of the Kickoff of the UPGRADE project, in which one of the founding members of the "Transport for Cairo" organization - Mr. AbdelRahman Hegazy- was invited to share the experience of TFC with the staff and students of the department focusing on how Sustainable Urban Mobility Planning was applied in the case of 6th Of October city.
