- The Third Direction in Architecture by dr.Haitham Sadek Selim (2017-11-29)
Public lecture presented by dr. Haitham Selim to provide a brief explanation of his book “Third direction in architecture”. In addition to explaining his book, the second part of the lecture was devoted for the audiences to allow them to debate and explain their own perspectives with the lecturer.

A public lecture about the Arabian architectural projects designed by pioneer architects such as, Norman Foster, and Zaha Hadid.

1.2. Site visits.

The architectural department makes many site visits each semester for students in different levels and courses to help them understand a certain issue through exploring it in reality. Examples of these visits are visiting a building with certain typology for students in a design course such as an airport or an office building, visiting a building to explore a technical issue like HVAC system, or visiting a building in its construction phase for students to understand certain issues in building and execution courses. The following are examples from these visits.
