Interior Architecture Program

Dear Students,

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the Department of Architectural Engineering, one of the pioneering academic departments established within the Faculty of Engineering and Technology in September 2006. Operating at the intersection of art, design, and technology, the department addresses key societal and environmental challenges facing the local and regional built environment and seeks to leverage the opportunities these challenges present.

We are proud to be part of a rapidly growing and dynamic institution that is committed to implementing forward-looking pedagogical approaches and investing in advanced educational and research infrastructure. Our facilities reflect the latest instructional technologies, and our faculty members are dedicated educators with rich research and professional expertise that support the effective delivery of our programs. In this context, the department’s vision is to become a leading provider of architectural and urban education in the region.

The Department of Architectural Engineering is also actively expanding its international engagement. Our team is currently participating in an academic cooperation initiative funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. This project involves direct collaboration with universities in Germany, Spain, Italy, Greece, Lebanon, and Egypt, and will significantly enhance the academic experience of our students.

We believe that architectural education is a collaborative learning process built on a strong relationship between professors and students. Our faculty members are committed to sharing their knowledge and expertise, while expecting students to demonstrate dedication, creativity, and perseverance in their learning journey.

Whether you are a prospective student, current student, or visitor, I invite you to explore our website to learn more about the Department of Architectural Engineering, our programs, and the resources we offer.
