With the support of the University President, Prof. Dr. Ebada Sarhan, and the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Prof. Dr. ElSayed Tageldin, two talented students from the Architectural Engineering Department at the Future University in Egypt (FUE) have been selected to study abroad at the University of Malaga in Spain. Maram Fekry and Mohamed Abdallah will spend a semester there starting in February 2025, thanks to a mobility agreement between the two universities under the Erasmus+ program.
The students were chosen based on their academic excellence and will receive a grant to cover their accommodation and living expenses. This opportunity is a result of collaborative efforts between FUE's Vice Dean of Community Services and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Yehya Serag, and Dr. Randa Medhat from the Architectural Engineering Department, and their Spanish counterparts at the University of Malaga.
This exchange program aligns with FUE's commitment to internationalization. The university has already signed a mobility agreement with the University of Valencia and is set to implement it soon. Additionally, FUE has secured funding for a new Erasmus+ project involving universities in Romania, Spain, Italy, Tunisia, Jordan, and Egypt, which will run until 2027.
