As part of its ongoing commitment to academic enrichment and knowledge exchange, Future University in Egypt (FUE) hosted a distinguished architectural lecture at the Faculty of Engineering & Technology, delivered by Prof. Dr. Tamer El-Gabaly, Architectural Consultant and Designer.
The lecture was held under the title
“An Architect’s Ever-Evolving Journey: A Generative Methodology for a Redefined Architectural Vision”, and was attended by university leadership, faculty members, teaching assistants, students, staff, and individuals interested in architecture and design.
During the lecture, Prof. El-Gabaly shared inspirational highlights from key milestones in his professional journey, shedding light on the achievements and turning points that shaped his successful career. The talk also addressed how architects can continuously evolve their design approaches in response to the rapidly changing architectural landscape. In addition, Prof. El-Gabaly introduced the concept of generative design and discussed its impact on redefining architectural vision through innovative methodologies and tools, supported by real-life professional examples.
Prof. Dr. Tamer El-Gabaly is one of Egypt’s most distinguished architects. He studied Architecture at Ain Shams University, earned his master’s degree focusing on commercial atrium spaces between traditional and contemporary design, and later obtained his PhD in designing regional shopping centers and mixed-use developments. He founded El Gabaly Architects in 1994 and later established GEBAL Consultants in 2016 as a full-service architecture and engineering consultancy firm.
This lecture reflects the Faculty of Engineering & Technology’s dedication at Future University in Egypt to bridging academic learning with professional practice, while inspiring students to embrace innovation and develop a forward-looking architectural vision.
