The Faculty of Engineering & Technology at Future University in Egypt (FUE), represented by the Community Service & Environment Development Sector, successfully concluded a meaningful outreach visit to Awlady Orphanage in Degla Maadi.
This initiative reflects FUE’s continuous commitment to social responsibility and active community engagement. A delegation of faculty members and students from various departments dedicated a full day to interacting with the children, fostering an atmosphere of solidarity, encouragement, and shared joy.
The day’s program was carefully structured to combine educational value with recreational engagement. Activities commenced with a communal breakfast that set a welcoming and friendly tone for the visit. This was followed by a series of sports activities, including football matches and track marathons, promoting teamwork, enthusiasm, and positive interaction.
In line with the faculty of Engineering and Technology’s spirit, students led hands-on creative workshops where children designed and crafted colorful Ramadan lanterns, personalized pencil cases, and miniature architectural models. These activities encouraged creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration, while creating meaningful memories for all participants.
The visit concluded with the distribution of commemorative gifts, including stationery, art supplies, and keychains aimed at supporting the children’s educational and creative development.
Through such initiatives, Future University in Egypt continues to strengthen its role as an institution that not only advances academic excellence but also prioritizes community empowerment. The Faculty of Engineering & Technology remains committed to nurturing engineers who are not only highly skilled professionals but also compassionate and socially responsible leaders.
