Student Paper Contest

Engineer Mohamed Tarek, Teaching Assistant at the Petroleum Engineering department participated in the SPE Middle East Regional Paper Contest, Master's division and won the First Place Award. He is now qualified to the International contest at Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition (ATCE) that will be held in Houston, Texas, USA during 28 to 30 September 2015.

SPE coordinates 14 regional student paper contests at the Undergraduate, Master's, and PhD level. Contestants perform a presentation on the day of the competition, and then the victors who proceed to the International contest at ATCE have their papers published in the conference proceedings and on OnePetro.
