Faculty Overview
The primary goal of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Future University in Egypt is to prepare undergraduates for their professional roles after graduation. To accomplish that objective, the faculty provides students with the most current curricula supported by the latest technology.
Our students receive a strong academic foundation in one of the world’s fastest progressing fields. To further advance their training, our students study the efficient use of computers in order to become familiar with the latest technologies in communication, computation, and design. This rigorous program is supported by a highly qualified faculty’s staff who have the expertise to effectively present material using modern teaching methods.

Engineering and Technology offers a wide variety of undergraduate engineering degrees, each of which prepares our students to be successful professionals in areas in demand, both nationally and internationally. Our students graduate ready to enter the work force and make exemplary contributions to their chosen field. The primary goal of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Future University in Egypt is to prepare undergraduates who have the ability to contribute productively to their profession upon graduation. Our students receive a strong foundation in one of the world’s fastest progressing fields. To add further depth to their training, our students study the efficient use of computers and become familiar with the latest technologies in communication, computation, and design.     All faculties, including engineering, embrace the University’s mission to “promote an atmosphere that values intellectual curiosity, the pursuit of knowledge, and academic freedom and integrity.” To achieve this mission, certain pillars of an FUE education are embedded in the curriculum of all faculties.
    These competencies or “pillars of FUE education” include the following: 
    • Critical thinking: objective analysis and evaluation of information and concepts from multiple perspectives
    • Knowledge integration: application, and synthesis of information, and concepts from diverse disciplines
    • Effective communication: strong facility in oral and written communication, use of visual resources, and technology for communication
    • Social responsibility: respectful and civil treatment of others, active participation in civil and democratic institutions, protection of the environment, and intelligent use of natural resources.
    Together with information literacy, the pillars prepare our graduates to be productive members of society who value lifelong learning.

    Program Requirements

    All programs in the Faculty of Engineering and Technology require the successful completion of five years (ten semesters) for obtaining the bachelor’s degree. In addition to the two regular semesters of each school year, students may choose to complete from twelve to twenty-one credit hours during summer courses to lessen the workload required during the regular semesters or to enrich their education with additional elective courses. It is important to note that no student may exceed the number of credit hours allowed per semester or take fewer than the minimum hours allowed without the permission of the Dean and consultation with the academic advisor.
