I would like to welcome you to the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Future University in Egypt (FUE). Currently, we have only one specialization which is mechatronics, however soon, we will be offering other specializations. As such, our current aim is to be among the top Mechatronics engineering programs in Egypt.

In Mechatronics specialization, you will study a program that prepares you to apply mathematical and scientific principles to the design, development, maintenance and operational evaluation of computer controlled electro-mechanical systems and products with embedded electronics, sensors, and actuators. Examples of these systems are Robotics, automated manufacturing systems, home appliances, defense systems, drones, airplanes autopilot systems, autonomous cars, and much more. Our curriculum includes instruction in mechanical engineering, electronic and electrical engineering, computer and software engineering, and control engineering. Significant hands-on activities are also included through advanced labs experiments, courses’ projects, and industrial field training.

In addition to students, the Department of Mechanical Engineering (Mechatronics) is home to 7 faculty staff members, 8 teaching assistants, and 3 lab technicians.
Our distinguished faculty staff members hold academic degrees from different reputable schools in Egypt and all over the world (Canada, U.K., Japan, Germany, and China). The Mechanical Engineering faculty is researching solutions to important problems in automation, robotics, energy efficiency and the environment, and other emerging technologies that advance our society.

Our graduates are will prepared to be of the most qualified and respected engineers in the field with the following profile:
- Having solid background in the specialization.
- Initiative, and
- Ability to work in a team either as a member or as a leader.
