Each student is required to spend a minimum of 240 hours in practical training split over three modules each having 80 hours. This training can be carried out during the summer or mid-year vacations in Egypt or abroad after level two. One training module can be carried out on-campus through enrolling in the internal training organized by the Faculty. Students acquire important outcomes from practical training such as: apply safe systems at work, observe the appropriate steps to manage risks, and demonstrate basic organizational and project management skills. Moreover, it helps to exchange knowledge and skills with engineering community and industry. After completing the practical training, a complete account of the student experience shall be reported, presented and evaluated by the academic department.
